Intro Call

We’ll start with a free, no-obligation intro call so we can get to know each other. It’s a chance to discuss your project, your goals, and make sure we’re a good fit. By the end of the call, we’ll aim to have a rough outline of the project scope, timeframe, and budget.

Project Proposal

Using the information gathered during our intro call, I’ll put together a proposal detailing the project scope, timeline, and estimated costs.

Project Sign-Off

Once we’ve agreed on the details, you’ve signed your proposal, and paid any deposits, your project is locked in and scheduled for the agreed start date.

Discovery and Research

Once we’re ready to start, we’ll kick things off with a discovery call where we can go into detail about your business, the market, your customers, and your competitors. If needed, I’ll then do some additional research to help inform our approach.

Creative Direction

Before diving into the creative work, I’ll develop mood boards, style references, or initial concepts to make sure we’re all on the same page.

Design

With the creative direction set, I’ll start turning our initial ideas into final designs, refining them based on your feedback until we’re happy all designs align with the goals of the project.

Production

Once designs are approved, it’s time to turn them into usable assets. This may involve preparing and sending files to print, building out a website, or exporting files in various formats for different print and digital applications.

Delivery

I’ll hand over all final assets, ensuring everything is formatted correctly for its intended use. For a website project, this includes overseeing the launch and making sure everything is running smoothly. I’ll also provide any necessary documentation or training agreed on as part of the project proposal.

Analysis and Optimisation

My goal is always to deliver results—not just initially, but through ongoing incremental improvements. Whenever possible, I’ll measure performance, gather feedback, and use insights to make informed decisions that continually improve the effectiveness of your marketing.

Every project is different, so I quote based on your specific needs. I’d recommend you book an intro call—it's free and there’s no obligation—so we can discuss your project in detail. After that, you’ll get a clear, upfront quote so you know exactly what to expect.

For most projects, I’ll have initial designs ready within 48 hours. Larger projects—like brand identities, websites, or multi-page brochures—will take a bit longer, but I’ll make sure you’re kept in the loop with updates every day or two.

Collaboration is key. Nobody knows your business better than you, so your insights will shape everything we create. You’ll also have multiple opportunities throughout the process to review work and provide feedback.

Feedback is a natural part of the process and I don’t expect you to love everything I present. If something isn’t hitting the mark, we’ll discuss why and work together to improve it.

Clear communication is key, and email alone often gets messy fast. To keep things organised and efficient, I use channels that suit each task:

  • Calls/In-person Meetings: For detailed discussions, presentations, or training.
  • Slack: For quick, real-time chat.
  • File Comments: For sharing feedback directly on designs.
  • BugHerd: For website testing and bug reporting.
  • Loom: For video walkthroughs and explanations, especially across different time zones.

If you and your team prefers other tools, just let me know—I’m flexible.

Absolutely. I offer retainers (6 or 12 months) at a fixed number of hours each month. Unused hours roll over, and you can borrow from future months if needed. Perfect if you have a regular need for creative work and prefer predictable costs.
